Founded in 1980, El Kanaouet, a public limited company with a capital of 11.5 millions dinars including a 16% foreign shareholding, is the historic national manufacturer of prestressed concrete pipes with its headquarters in the capital Tunis and its factory in Enfidha, 100 km from the capital and close to the largest door and airport infrastructures in the country. El Kanaouet has the largest industrial potential for prestressed concrete in Tunisia and is one of the largest operators in the manufacture of centrifuged prestressed concrete pipes in Africa.
