On March 10, 2023, the company El Kanaouet organized, under the supervision of the Minister of Industry and Mines and in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, the National Water Distribution and Exploitation Company, the National Sanitation Office, and the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT), its first study day on the theme ‘Technologies in the Pressure Pipe Industry.’ In her statement, the minister highlighted the important role played by El Kanaouet in the manufacturing of prestressed concrete pipes to connect dams and desalination plants for the supply of drinking water to cities and municipalities, as well as for irrigation.
This day was an exceptional event focused on reflecting on the diversification of the company’s activities and the development of partnerships with international and global institutions (D-CAST Canada, Afinitas, Schlusselbauer, SMCE Morocco, SONEDE, ONAS, ENIT). International experts from Austria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Morocco, and Italy shared their experiences with their Tunisian counterparts during this event, which saw the participation of 150 attendees.
