Steel core pipe

This vertically cast pipe in vibrated concrete contains a cylinder made of hot-rolledsteel plate embedded between two layers of concrete. The thickness of the steel plate varies from 2 to 10 mm depending on the intended use of the structure (service pressure, nature of the soil and conveyed fluid, rolling loads, and back fill height).

This type of pipe ensures complete sealing and can withst and pressures ranging from 5 to 20 bars.

The fitting is done either by welding or by a rubber O-ring.
